Home Health Aid

Duties and Responsibilities: They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress.  They also prepare and serve meals as well as perform housekeeping chores like making beds and cleaning rooms.
Average Salary:  $8,000 - $18,000
Educational Requirements:
Most employers prefer that nursing assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate.  Some vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs.
Education: Most employers would like that the nursing assistants
and the aides have a high school diploma or also GED certificate.

I do think I would like this job because I would like to helot e elderly to help them clean up and feed them the only thing that would get in my way from working here is the help cleaning them that in a way would bother me, but I guess if ii worked in that job I wouldn’t mind as much.

Health Educator
Duties and Responsibilities:
 Health educators provide information on health and health related issues. They can assess health training needs and plan health education programs. They may specialize according to specific health concerns, illnesses, or work or training settings. Health educators may work as independent consults or in health departments, community organizations, businesses, hospitals, schools or government agencies. Health educators often:
·       Perform health training needs assessments.
·       Design and develop health education programs.
·       Publish health education materials, information papers, and grant proposals.
·       Develop health education curriculum.
·       Teach health in public and provide schools
Average Salary: $20,000-$30,000
Educational Requirements:
Students should take college preparatory courses during high school
Health educators have, as minimum, a bachelor’s degree in health education. Many have master’s degree. To be certified or licensed to teach health in public schools requires master’s degrees and successful completion of a written exam in many states.

Dialysis Technician
Duties and responsibilities:
Dialysis Technicians operate machines that remove waste and excess fluid from the blood of patients whose kidneys can no longer carry out those functions. Dialysis technicians are also referred to as renal dialysis technicians, hemodialysis technicians, or nephrology technicians.  They work under the physicians, primarily                                                                in hospitals and clinics.

Dialysis technicians must fully understand the operation of the kidney dialysis machines. They are responsible for their operation, cleaning, and sterilization. They must also fully understand their patients’ needs. Dialysis technicians carefully monitor and record weight and vital signs before, during, and after the blood cleansing procedures. Additionally, they instruct patients about in-home treatments. Because dialysis technicians work with blood, they must exercise strict safety recantations against infectious disease such as hepatitis and AIDS.

Dental Assistant
Duties and Responsibilities:
Dental assistants help provide dental care. They often work in teams with dental hygienist and laboratory technicians. They may work in health clinics, dental schools nursing homes, and the military, but usually they work for dentists in private practice.
Dental assistant duties include:
•      Helping patients feel comfortable during treatment.
•      Taking and developing dental x-rays.
•      Taking medical histories for patients.
•      Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments and equipment.
•      Instructing patients about dental health care to include brushing and flossing.
•      Performing office management task.

Average Salary: $14,000-$25,000
Educational Requirements:
Dental assistant must have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
They must receive additional training at a community college, vocational school, or dental school to learn their skills. Length of programs varies between six months and one year. To become certified, dental assistant must pass an examination from the Dental Assistant National Board.

Clinical technologist

Clinical technologists perform more complex laboratory test and procedures than technicians. They also supervise technicians, conform there test, and manage laboratory quality control programs.
Most clinical laboratory specialist work in hospital, but they are also employed by private practices, medical groups, research laboratories, pharmaceutical companies and universities.
