Duties and responsibilities:

Clinical Laboratory Specialist include both Clinical

Laboratory Technicians and Clinical Technologist.

These professions are also refereed to as Medical

Laboratory Technicians or Medical Technologist.

Both technicians and technologist perform laboratory

work to identify work to identify, diagnose and treat

disease.                                          

Clinical laboratory technicians use microscopes,

laboratory equipment, chemicals and computers

to perform laboratory procedures. They also

collect blood specimens and prepare culture

media. They conduct test and prepare reports for

clinical technologists and physicians.

Educational requirements:

Students who want to become chiropractors should take challenging high school science, math and English courses.

Chiropractors must complete a ten semester program in a chiropractic college after completing two years or junior college study.

Most states require that chiropractors pass certification examination before being granted a license to practice.

Duties and responsibilities:

Audiologist work with patients who have who have hearing disorders.  They may work in hospitals or clinics, private practice, schools or universities, nursing homes, industry, or research laboratories. They perform examinations, tests, and evaluations as well as provide treat.

Audiologist often:

•        Test and measure hearing functions.

•        Identify types of hearing disorders.

•        Develop and provide patient rehabilitation plans and programs.

•        Conduct audio logical research.

•        Provide educational, medical, and professional consultation.

•        Recommended, dispense and test hearing aids.

Average salary: $30,000-$50,000

Educational requirements:

Students should take the most challenging high school should courses (include AP or IB courses) available in science, math, and speech.

Audiologists have master’s degree in audiologist and are licensed.
