Radiologic Technologist

 Duties and Responsibilities: Radiologic Technologists use x-ray machines, ultrasound machines, magnetic resonance scanners, positron emission scanners, and other technologically advanced machines to help diagnose and treat illnesses and injuries under the direction of a physician.  They are responsible for explaining and getting patients ready for radiological tests and treatment that will be performed.  They place the equipment at the right distance and right angle from the patient to make the appropriate images for the physician. 
Salary:$24,000 - $36,000

Education: Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses available in high school. To become a registered radiologic technologist, students must complete a two year training program in a hospital or school.
Reflection: i think i would like this job because it does interest me.(:

Ophthalmologist
Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmic technicians and technologists help ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the correct diagnosis and the treatment of eye diseases and some problems. They work in hospitals, clinics, or for ophthalmologists in private practice. 
Salary: $14,000 - $25,000
Education: Students will need high school diplomas (or GED certificate) and two years in college prior to beginning the ophthalmic training programs.  These programs may vary in length, but can take up to two years to be complete.

Reflection: I wouldn’t like this job because it doesn’t really interest me. And also it’s what I’m really into.

Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Duties and Responsibilities: The Nuclear Medicine Technologists prepare an administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive substance) to detect and to also treat disease.  They also then position equipment over the patients to make images.  These pictures allow the physicians to identify any abnormal areas.  This helps in diagnosing illness. They also perform on laboratory tests on tissue samples. They must follow the strict safety regulations due to the dangers in radiation effects to their bodies and organs.  
Salary: $28,000 - $42,000
Education: Students should take the most challenging science, math, and English courses that are available in high school. Nuclear medicine technology training in programs vary in length from one to four years.

Reflection: I don’t think I would like this job because it is very risky and knowing me I would be kind of bad doing this job and I would put people in risk and maybe I wouldn’t pass the training or entering exam.

Health Sciences Librarian
Duties and Responsibilities: Health Sciences Librarians and also Library Technicians collect and they organize medical information and they help the practitioners find the information that they need for the patient care, education, research, and also administration. The librarians select and acquire books, journals, and other library material.  They also establish in electronic and digital database information systems.
Salary: $35,000 - $55,000
Education: Students should take some challenging high school courses in information management, science, math, and English. Health sciences library technician train in varies by the employer.

Reflection: Do you think you would like this job? Why or why not? I think I would like this job because I like to be organized and I wouldn’t mind help finding that they need knowing it would be right at the reach of things.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)
Duties and Responsibilities: Licensed practical nurses work with and under the direction of registered nurses and physicians.  They care for the injured, handicapped, and sick patients. Their duties are taking temperatures, blood pressures, and pulses. They give injections, change dressings, and help give the patients baths.   Most of all they care for patients in the hospitals, nursing homes, and extended care facilities. Some of the practical nurses work in homes of others.
Salary: $16,000 - $23,000
Education: Although a high school diploma or GED certificate is not always required, it is encouraged. Licensed practice nurses don’t have the extensive professional education that is required for a registered nurse.

I think i would cause helping out wouldbe pretty nice feeling good for once in a while like helping out other like the sick for example.
