Duties and Responsibilities: The Nuclear Medicine
Technologists prepare an administer radiopharmaceuticals (radioactive substance)
to detect and to also treat disease.
They also then position equipment over the patients to make images. These pictures allow the physicians to
identify any abnormal areas. This helps in
diagnosing illness. They also perform on laboratory tests on tissue samples. They
must follow the strict safety regulations due to the dangers in radiation
effects to their bodies and organs.
Salary: $28,000 - $42,000

Reflection: I don’t think I would like this job because it
is very risky and knowing me I would be kind of bad doing this job and I would
put people in risk and maybe I wouldn’t pass the training or entering exam.
