Ophthalmologist
Duties and Responsibilities: Ophthalmic technicians and
technologists help ophthalmologists collect data and measurements to allow the
correct diagnosis and the treatment of eye diseases and some problems. They
work in hospitals, clinics, or for ophthalmologists in private practice.
Salary: $14,000 - $25,000
Education: Students will need high school diplomas (or GED
certificate) and two years in college prior to beginning the ophthalmic
training programs. These programs may
vary in length, but can take up to two years to be complete.
Reflection: I wouldn’t like this job because it doesn’t really
interest me. And also it’s what I’m really into.
