“CTR connects you to happiness and success-CTW disconnects.”

Mr.Haymore

What I think this quote means is that if you choose the right you will get a lot of good out of it and it all goes wells because you have no worries of like if you get caught stealing or nothing you just have no worries. And if you choose the wrong you have to worry about what if you left evidence behind or what if you get caught and all types of worries so it’s best to just choose the right.

“It’s better to be alone than to be in bad company.”
-ANON

Reflection:

What I think this means is that, if you’re alone then there’s no distraction and nobody to tell you do wrong things that won’t do you any good. So it’s always best to be alone because by yourself you make your own right decisions on what you think is best for yourself and not letting the wrong people tell you what is wrong at the wrong time, so it’s always best to be alone.

-Ezra T. Benson
Reflection:

What I think this trying to say is you can’t rob a bank and feel proud with no worries or you can’t shoot somebody and not regret it you just can do the wrong things and feel good about it because at one point you’ll regret it, it’s just not possible to feel good about its like saying you’ll be proud to give a baby a slap and not feel bad about it at all, it’s impossible. Maybe not at the moment you’ll feel bad but later on you’ll regret it and there’s nothing you can do about because you already did it so think twice about what you do before you do it and regret it.

-Margaret Chase Smith
Reflection:
What this means is that smoking weed and being popular is not always the right thing to feel cool and be proud of that, the right thing is standing up for yourself and being like “Yea I’m not popular! So what?” that’s a true test that you don’t care about what others think and you are choosing the right by not trying to fit in or whatever, you’re you and that’s all you care about nothing else.

“Disciplining yourself to do
what you know is right and important,
although difficult, is the highroad to pride, self-
esteem, and personal satisfaction.”
-Margaret Thatcher

What this means to me is that you want to set yourself as a good example even through rough times you always want to be known as a good person. Even though we learn from our mistakes, like you’re not always going to be a good person all perfect no mistakes you’re always going to mess up here and there so don’t always try to do good cause the only way we learn is from our mistakes to learn good from them. So don’t try to set yourself as perfect set yourself as smart and always doing what’s important.

“My Experience So Far at HPIAM
My experience here at hpiam has been good so far I just hope it gets better along the way. I’ve met a lot of new people and it feels good to have people to turn to when I don’t know what’s going on or something. The teachers are great they help me along the way they pay attention to every single one of their student and help us stay on track.  I’m really glad I picked this academy over the other ones I feel like I made the right decision coming here it’s like a second home to me. The principal Mr. C always there along the way helping us and making us crack up. I hope my 4 years at this school will be memorable I’m still a freshman the babies of the school the ones to pick on when we first arrive, which I think is pretty dumb because you were once a freshman the way we act is how most of you acted so I don’t know why they act so surprised when they see us. We I hope I don’t turn out to be like that because they’re also making themselves look foolish not just the freshman’s one thing I laugh about them is that I’m still young and have a longer time of being young while you guys are hours away from having to pay a lot of rent and provide for yourself. But so far my weeks here have been pretty good just waiting for them to get better I really like it and can’t wait for upcoming events and things like that. I hope I make more friends along the way and I want to help the upcoming freshman’s when I go up in grades and tell them what’s going to happen so they can be prepared.
